I am the first woman to paddle the West coast of India.
I was very naive about India when I arrived and learned a lot as I travelled through this amazing country, but I could not have done it without the help I received from the fantastic people who supported my expedition. Big thanks to Quest Expeditions Mr Jehan Driver who was instrumental in preparing me for expedition travel in India, keeping the trip going with his contacts network and by being only a phone call away for four months.
I launched on December 2nd in North-West India near Jamnagar with assistance from Jehan Driver, Mustak Mepani & Prafulla Pendurkar.
I reached Kanyakumari (the southern tip of India) on February 25th, 2013.
I launched again on March 1st and continued for another 20 days up the east coast of Tamil Nadu to the northern side of Palk Bay where I concluded stage 2 at Vederanyam.
